The Repair Cost Addendum is a separate Grainwork document. It reads the PDF report you already make and puts Grainwork’s planning ranges beside your findings, so no numbers go in your report. It’s built, and no firm uses it yet. We’re looking for our first few firms.
Please don’t attach a client’s report to your first email.

Your findings, in your order.
Each finding keeps its page number and your words, so your client can match it to what you wrote.

A rough range, or a plain “can’t price this.”
Where your report says enough, the addendum gives a rough planning range, with labor at an hourly rate for your area. Where your report doesn’t say enough, or the work depends on hidden conditions, it says so instead of guessing. Items you referred to a specialist are marked “evaluation first.” If one shows a range when you review it, tell us and we’ll remove it before you share.

You decide if your client sees it.
You review each addendum before your client does. Nothing reaches your client unless you share it. Your client gets a private link you can turn off, and a printable copy.
Your report stays as you wrote it. The addendum is Grainwork’s document, not part of your report. Its ranges are labeled as Grainwork’s planning ranges, not your findings, and Grainwork answers your client’s questions about them. Grainwork doesn’t advise anyone whether to buy.

Who answers my client’s questions about a cost?
Grainwork will. The ranges are ours, so questions about them come to us, not you.
What if the addendum gets a finding wrong?
You’ll see every addendum before your client does. If a finding is misread, tell us and we’ll fix it or leave that finding out. Nothing goes to your client unless you share it.
How would we send you a report to try?
Not in your first email. Send us a client’s report only after that client agrees in writing; we’ll agree with you on a private way to share it. Our AI provider, Google, will process the report to write its addendum. We don’t sell personal information, and we’ll delete your report when you ask.
