GRAINWORK Contractor pilot

For bathroom and shower contractors

Build an estimate you can review with your client.

Start with photos, measurements and notes from your bathroom or shower job. Review the draft scope and cost breakdown, make your changes, and keep the agreed work in the same project.

Your first project

We help you get set up before you pay.

01Tell us about the job

Request a free walkthrough by email. Tell us about the bathroom or shower work and where the job is. We will reply to arrange a conversation.

02Agree on what the pilot covers

We review the job with you, explain which details to capture and confirm what the $39 pilot includes. If it suits your job, we set up your workspace and project access.

03Open your project

Once we confirm your access, sign in with the Google account you agreed to use. Capture the job, confirm the work you need priced, and pay only when you choose to start the supported paid work.

Before you send the estimateCheck the scope, quantities and rates

Review the proposed work, check the measurements and quantities, and set your rates. Refer to the job photos when you need to explain an estimate line.

Before you commit to a priceSee what still needs a quote

See which prices come from your rates or supplier quotes and which still need checking. Review AI estimates against your own rates or quotes before using them for the job.

When the work changesExplain the extra work

Put the reason, photos and price together for the client to review. Keep the accepted change with the original job and the work that follows.

From the first visit to the last task

Keep the estimate, changes and job records together.

01Capture what needs doing

Bring together the photos, video, measurements and notes you need to describe the job. Missing information stays visible for you to check.

02Review the draft estimate

Check the proposed scope, quantities and price sources. Use your own rates and supplied quotes, and resolve missing information before confirming the work.

03Track the job through completion

Keep the agreed scope, approved changes, progress photos and closeout in the same project.

Before your first project

What to check before you send an estimate

Who checks the estimate?

You do. Grainwork prepares a draft from the job information and available rates. Check the scope, measurements, quantities and price sources, then make any corrections before using it. Photos do not verify hidden conditions or exact measurements.

Are the material prices supplier quotes?

Only prices returned by or imported from an authorized supplier are labeled as supplier quotes. Other prices show their source and are marked for you to replace.

How do I get prices from my supplier?

Download the material request from your estimate, send that Grainwork file to your supplier, and upload their completed file. We help you through this on your first job. Your supplier's prices stay attached to the materials they cover.

What if my supplier will not fill out the file?

Use your own rate book or leave the material unpriced. During the first job, check whether sending and importing the file saves you time. Grainwork does not treat an unanswered request as a supplier quote.

Does it work for every trade?

Not yet. This pilot supports bathroom and shower work. We review your job with you before taking payment so you know whether it fits.

What will I have at the end?

You will have your reviewed estimate, with the scope, quantities and price sources together. Use the same project to record accepted changes, progress and completion so you can check what was agreed.

What happens after the included runs?

There is no automatic additional purchase. Your saved estimates and work record remain available. Contact support to agree the next step. If Grainwork fails to deliver an estimate or priced change, the attempt does not use an included run. Canceling after analysis starts uses a run. Repeated failures may need a support review before another attempt.

What if I need a refund?

Contact Grainwork support so we can review the job and payment. A full refund stops further paid estimating for that purchase and preserves your existing estimates, evidence, and work record.
