How it works
Three steps, all on your phone.
-
Film the problem.
Start wide, then move closer. About a minute of video is plenty, and a clear photo works too.

Say what happened.
Tell the app what you noticed and when, in your own words. If you’re guessing at the cause, say so.
-
Get a range and what’s behind it.
You see the repair, a cost range and the hours and materials it assumed. You also see what a contractor should check in person.
How the price is built
What goes into the price.
Labor is priced with a rate for your area, based on U.S. Labor Department wage data for construction workers. It is not a quote from local contractors, so confirm the work on site before you agree to it.
Each range adds up the hours the job should take, the parts and supplies it needs, and one visit to your home. It also lists what the video couldn’t show, for a contractor to check in person.
Try it on your next repair. It’s free to start.
See what it might cost before you call anyone.
