Do I need a contractor quote to use Grainwork?
No. Film a Repair is the starting point: show Grainwork the problem and get an independent estimate range. If you receive a contractor quote later, Bid Check is an optional follow-on.
Is a Grainwork estimate the same as a contractor quote?
No. Grainwork gives you an independent, approximate cost range from what the camera can see. A contractor can inspect hidden conditions, confirm the scope, choose materials, and provide the formal bid.
What happens to my photo or video?
It is stored securely to generate and improve your estimate, and may be reviewed by a licensed contractor working with Grainwork for calibration. It is not posted publicly, sold as a lead, or shared for advertising. You can delete your account and active first-party data in the app.
Is Grainwork available on Android?
Not publicly yet. Android visitors can send a one-tap email from this page to ask for a launch notice. Grainwork is currently available for iPhone in the US.
