Buying, renovating and caring for a home

There’s a lot to know
about a home.

A showing, an inspection and a repair each tell you something about a home. Grainwork helps you put those details to use, whether you’re buying, planning a renovation or taking care of the place you live.

Inside Grainwork Professionals

What did the
walkthrough show?

Grainwork reviews the walkthrough and prepares a brief with visible findings, gaps in coverage and questions for the inspector. Check the findings before sharing the review with your client.

  • See the areas the camera covered and the ones it missed.
  • Distinguish visible findings from conditions the camera could not show.
  • Prepare questions for the inspector or a return visit.

As the home changes

What you learn
should stay with the home.

An inspection may flag a concern. A contractor may find something else during a repair. Those details matter years later. We’re building Grainwork around a record of the whole home, with the evidence and decisions that explain how it changes.

Our approach

A camera can only
show you so much.

Grainwork uses AI to review the material you provide. It can help identify questions and organize findings, but it cannot tell you what’s behind a wall or replace an onsite professional.

Check the source of a finding.

Refer back to the photo, walkthrough or report when reviewing a finding. An onsite professional must assess hidden conditions, and you should review estimated costs with the person doing the job.

How your records are used.

Your uploads are not posted publicly or sold as leads. Grainwork stores and analyzes them to provide and improve the service; a licensed contractor working with us may review media for calibration. How we handle your information.

Questions about Grainwork

Which product do you need?

Which Grainwork product is right for me?

Professionals helps real estate teams review homes with clients. The contractor pilot covers estimates and project work. The Grainwork app helps homeowners with repairs, room redesigns and quote comparisons.

Does Professionals replace my CRM?

You can manage clients and their homes in Grainwork, or use it alongside your CRM. Today, Copy CRM note is a manual handoff that you review and paste yourself. Native CRM sync and MLS feeds are not connected.

Do I need a contractor quote to use Grainwork?

No. Use Film a Repair to show the problem and get an independent estimate range. You can compare a contractor’s quote later with Bid Check.

Is a Grainwork estimate the same as a contractor quote?

No. Grainwork gives you an independent, approximate cost range from what the camera can see. A contractor can inspect hidden conditions, confirm the scope, choose materials, and provide the formal bid.

What happens to my photo or video?

It is stored securely to generate and improve your result, and may be reviewed by a licensed contractor working with Grainwork for calibration. It is not posted publicly, sold as a lead, or shared for advertising. You can delete your account and active first-party data in the app.
