A showing, an inspection and a repair each tell you something about a home. Grainwork helps you put those details to use, whether you’re buying, planning a renovation or taking care of the place you live.
Grainwork reviews the walkthrough and prepares a brief with visible findings, gaps in coverage and questions for the inspector. Check the findings before sharing the review with your client.
See the areas the camera covered and the ones it missed.
Distinguish visible findings from conditions the camera could not show.
Prepare questions for the inspector or a return visit.
Actual Grainwork output from an August 2026 walkthrough, shown on iPhone. The brief supports a conversation with an onsite professional; it is not a home inspection.

As the home changes
What you learn should stay with the home.
An inspection may flag a concern. A contractor may find something else during a repair. Those details matter years later. We’re building Grainwork around a record of the whole home, with the evidence and decisions that explain how it changes.
Work out what a repair might involve, explore a different room design or compare a contractor’s quote. Use the photos, videos and quotes you already have.
Repairs & estimating
Work out what a repair involves.
Photograph the problem or explain it in a video. Grainwork prepares a suggested scope, an approximate cost range and questions for your contractor.
Use a photo of your room to explore an AI redesign before choosing materials or starting construction. The image is a design concept to discuss with your contractor.
Compare a contractor’s quote with your Grainwork estimate. Review differences in the scope and costs, then ask the contractor about anything you don’t understand.
Grainwork uses AI to review the material you provide. It can help identify questions and organize findings, but it cannot tell you what’s behind a wall or replace an onsite professional.
Check the source of a finding.
Refer back to the photo, walkthrough or report when reviewing a finding. An onsite professional must assess hidden conditions, and you should review estimated costs with the person doing the job.
How your records are used.
